WHAT IS A LACE WIG?
A lace wig is very unique.
The hair is knotted or built on a very sheer lace cap, and the main feature is that at the hairline and when parted, a lace wig looks incredibly natural.
It looks as if the hair is growing right out of your own scalp.
This is not your traditional or regular wig.
It's much better and looks unbelievably natural.
Lace Wigs are made with real human hair or synthetic hair and each strand is hand tied to a sheer lace base.
Lace Wigs can be made with lace at the Front (known as Lace Front) or Lace everywhere (known as Full Lace).
What is a Lace Front Wig?
A Lace Front Wig is a Lace Wig that has a lace base just at the front of the cap. So the hair is only knotted at the front section of the wig and the back portion of the wig is made with tracks or wefted hair (like a regular wig).
The hair can then be parted at the front area where the lace is. Since a Lace front Wig only has lace at the front, the hair can usually only be worn loose at the back or in a low pony tail but it is not normally worn in a high pony tail since there is usually wefts at the back of the lace front wig.
The great advantage to Lace front Wigs is that they are very easy to Install. And at times, you would not need glue or tape to secure them since they have comb clips at Necessary Strategic areas inside the lace wig cap.
Lace Front wigs are great for someone wanting to try out lace wigs and also for someone who would prefer not to fuss with glue at the nape of the neck. Front lace wigs can easily be used for daily wear or for extended wear - depending on the method of attachment - hairpins, tape, glue, etc.
Both Front Lace Wigs and Full Lace Wigs, once applied, creates a flawless, natural and invisible hairline.
